Seeing my journal makes me sad ('tis empty and abandoned), and I feel the need and obligation to fill it to some extent. So, what's afoot? Nothing, really. I've finished my written exams and have only the oral Maths examination next Thursday to study for -- then I'm done with school, forever. Since I was never a particularly enthusiastic student, I barely notice the changes in my lifestyle.

Beside that, I have done some writing. Whereas The First Servant can for all practical purposes be considered aborted, Raise the Bloodied Banner  is closing in on its climax with chapter 13 ("Decline and Fall") in the works. I can't wait to start on the second part. In addition to my regular work, I have spent all night writing a Nunnally-centric Code Geass oneshot, entitled Retrospection. It can be read on my FanFiction.Net profile (link above) -- if you prefer awful formatting and long PDF files, it's also in my gallery. Beware of gore, strong language, and cynicism, though.

Also, I'm busily trying out fonts -- mostly of the classic serif variety. Garamond, Baskerville, Calson, the like. Problem being the freeware versions look awkward and blocky and I'm not going to give Adobe up to 500 Euros to use their typefaces. Any recommendations, gents?
