Lord Protector huh? So the Britannian Republic is a Commonwealth?

Until the 1640s Lord Protector was the title of the Regent during a King's minority, I like the title but that bugger Oliver Cromwell had to spoil it.....

That's why I used it. New Britannia still sees itself in the tradition of monarchs, and Cromwell never was there to spoil it (in fact, the Tudor monarchs throughout OTL Stuart Age were pretty Puritan). Thank you :)
